The AWE Tuning SwitchPath Exhaust System gives the best of both worlds: a Touring Edition exhaust note when exhaust gasses are routed through a central muffler and Helmholtz Resonator, and an aggressive Track Edition exhaust note when the valve system opens and exhaust gasses are routed straight through from the turbocharger.The included SwitchPath Activator is located discreetly in the ashtray, on the center console. This placement allows the activator to be concealed and undetected to the untrained eye. Form and function, united.
The system changes personality by employing AWE Tuning’s proprietary mechanical valve system. In essence, the AWE Tuning SwitchPath system is a Track Edition and a Touring Edition – all in one:
*Option one: do nothing.* The SwitchPath system changes volume from “Touring” to “Track” levels naturally based on boost levels. So when you hammer it, it hammers back.
*Option two: press it:* With a press of the included AWE Tuning SwitchPath Activator, you can be in “Track” from the word go, regardless of speed, throttle or boost. When you want to turn heads in traffic.
As exhaust gases exit they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers. Sound waves, carried by these exhaust gasses, bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers. By controlling the size and location of the ports and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves re-join the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies.

Returns will be accepted in first 30 days. Items must be new with original packaging, unused, re-sellable and with all the pieces. No refunds after 30 days. There will be no exchange or returns allowed on any electronics, coilovers, engine internals, turbochargers, superchargers or turbo kits. There are absolutely no returns on items marked "Special Order" or "Pre-Order". No cancellation allowed once the product is shipped. Receipt must be provided with every order returned. Tune2Mod must approve all items processed, with (RMA) number on the box. Restocking fee of 10% of item cost will be charged on all special and non regular stock products (marked as "Not in stock, Pre-Order Now"). A fee to redirect an order will or may apply, which will be calculated depending on size and weight. Shipping and handling fee will not be refunded. Client must pay for shipping. Please expect 2 business days to process a return and 3-5 business days to issue a refund.
